Miami, Florida USA January 16th, 2012 - ZOMBIE YEARS, a South Florida Web-comic, celebrates Wednesday the 18th of January, 4 years online. Starting in 2008, Zombie Years takes place in a near future Miami Florida, where a plague has hit, turning people turning into undead zombies, hungering for flesh. The survivors of the horror now try to get along, the daily struggle to survive is the routine and the rule, and everyone watches for the The Fever: a maddening virus that drives people insane,  eventually dying from it ….and then coming back.

Meet Frank Nuñez, a survivor; relatively young he’s now worked out his life in this new world. He’s been able to eek out a living among the dead, and delves into the deep reaches of the city to find anything to make life better. Frank is beaten, he doesn’t want anything from anyone, and just now resides in his mind to survive and see the next day. But one day while scavenging a girl comes into his life, and all of a sudden (right?) survival is not enough…

Zombie Years is a Horror Drama with lots of action and Humor, Survival tips, both real and unreal,  DIY concepts, Latin American/Caribbean culture, while featuring Miami as a whole other character in the story. Updating every Wednesday, this week the site will have a new page everyday and all of the archives will be available just this week for people to read form the beginning!

Zombie Years has found critical acclaim both in the comic book and Film field with books published by Creature Entertainment. Having sold books on the Concert circuit in Orlando, North Carolina and New York, selling out copies in all location, this celebration has been deemed by creator Juan Navarro fortuitous for now.

"There is so many amazing things going on now, between our next film, and our premiere this year at San Diego Comic Con, it's just the right time to celebrate Zombie Years and where it's at right now."

ZombieYears.com also has many links to DIY and Survival projects, and links to the Short film Juan Navarro directed with Julio Alvarez and Anthony Dones, "Thanks Grandpa"  can be seen in it's entirety on there.

Future plans include attending various cons in Orlando, Miami, San Diego and Baltimore and also a possible feature film base don ZOmbie Years. Juan artwork can also be found at  Fwacata.com
