Timeline of the HOF
This page displays the information that we have gathered and researched about the history of Self Publishing. All information has been independently researched and verified by members of the SPHOF volunteer army. That just means, if you want to help, please do. Anyone is welcome to submit information via our public submissions system, you do not have to be the person or company you wish to see in our information to submit the information about them. Incomplete info is fine to get an entry started, and we will follow up and add to it as possible.

SUBMITTING to the HOF Timeline
For simplicity's sake, the Timeline uses the same submission FORMS that publishers and individuals use to submit information for publisher listings and personal pages. They will be used basically the same when submitted, adding pages to the website, while adding dots on the timeline. The only real difference being that people submitting info for the HOF do not have to be the people they are submitting about, they just need to know a little about them, and send it in for us to verify. If you don't know something for a field in the form, write an N/A or whatever, we will work to fill in the blanks with the person or company in question. You do not have to be a signed in member of this website to use the forms. There is no charge for listings for the publishers or individuals. This is a historical effort. Your help in gaining knowledge and helping it be presented, is appreciated.
There is one additional form that is used ONLY for the Timeline, and that is the one that collects info about events that do not fall under the range of personal or company information. First ever type events, or things that changed the course of how Self Publishing and small press grew and evolved. Those types of things we ask be submitted on this form, for us to look over, check info, and post up for all to see. If you happen to be a serious historian interested in joining the HOF team of fact checkers, or to be able to post events/edit/add to them directly in the Timeline, rather than submit them for us to do, please let us know so we can talk and upgrade your status with us for that kind of access.
